The Cell Membrane
The Cell Membrane is surrounding the outside of an animal cell, and just inside of a plant cell. The Cell Membrane is a bilayer of phosphlipids with embedded proteins. The basic function of the Cell Membrane is to control what gets in and what gets out of the cell. It also protects the cell from its surroundings, along with the identification of blood groups and cell signaling.
Chromosomes and Cromatin
Chromosome is one DNA wrapped around a protein that is most often found in the nucleus. Chromosomes consist of the genetic information to make everything for the cell. Unlike Chromosomes, Chromatin is unwound DNA but also found in the nucleus. Chromatin makes up the nucleus cell, it also helps to package DNA into a smaller form to fit through the cell.
